Support the Reserve

Through its work, the Climate Action Reserve mainly interacts with businesses and organizations that are involved in carbon markets or climate change policy. Often, though, individuals who are concerned about climate change ask how they can become involved and support the Reserve’s work. Both individuals and groups can do this through a number of ways, including financial donations and staying updated on the organization’s activities.

By supporting the Reserve, you are investing in the fight against climate change and helping the organization continue its work to ensure integrity and transparency in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Your support directly assists the Reserve in many pioneering climate change activities, including:

  • Encouraging action from industries that otherwise may not have considered reducing their emissions
  • Developing climate change initiatives at state, national and international levels
  • Bringing together business, environmental groups, academia and government to collaborate together on solutions
  • Building a strong community of people who are all doing their part to protect the environment

The Reserve is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization under the Internal Revenue Code. The organization’s Tax ID number is 68-0477330. Contributions made to the Reserve are tax deductible. The Reserve is a Silver-level participant with GuideStar, demonstrating its commitment to transparency.
