The Reserve released a clarification for the Nitric Acid Production Project Protocol Versions 2.0 and 1.0. The clarification, effective immediately, defines the term “operating manual” for Nitric Acid Plant equipment, and allows for ammonia-to-air ratios to be updated based on the operating manual when no other data are available. All listed and registered projects under the above protocols should follow the guidance specified in its errata and clarifications document.
